Sunday May 17, 2026 Announcements

PRAYER – Toward the end of our closing song, 2 people from our prayer ministry team will come up to the right of the stage to offer prayer for anyone who would like to speak with them. They will hang around for a few minutes after the service in case anyone needs prayer. We also have a prayer time every Sunday before the early worship service @ 8:30 am in front of the stage in the worship center. Our focus during that time is on our church, and for any personal concerns that you may want to share.

SMALL GROUPS – We now have 15 small groups to choose from. Please see Ernie after the worship service today if you would like some information about our options.

PARKING – Please do not park at the Common Man parking lot if you’re going to the 10:45 service because they start serving lunch at 11 am, and we don’t want to keep any of their customers from parking there. Thank you!

YARD SIGNS AND CAR MAGNETS – Please pick up your free yard sign and/or car magnet after the service to help us in promoting our church!

MUGS AND CANDY FOR OUR GUESTS! – If you haven’t received one of our Ashland Community mugs yet, please see Ernie after the worship service today.

BAPTISMS AND FOOD! – Our next baptism and testimony day is scheduled for Sunday, June 21st. We already have 6 people interested in being baptized on that day. Please let Ernie know if you are interested in being baptized. We will also be celebrating with another breakfast bar at 8:30 am and our first cookout of the season at noon. All of the testimonies will be shared during the worship services at the church. But the baptisms will be at the Ashland Beach at approximately 1 pm.

BOXES OF LOVE ON SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH! – We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting Boxes of Love again on June 6th. This is a ministry that we have the privilege of hosting, but the people from Boxes of Love bring all the free gifts that are given away to homeless people and people who are in need. We will be needing help with setting up from 8-10, a cookout from 11:30-1, and clean-up from 1-3. We also need someone to help with washing hair. We’ll have a volunteer sign-up sheet available starting next week or sign up online here.

BABY BOTTLE BLESSINGS – The Baby Bottle Blessing fundraiser for Haven Pregnancy Services of Plymouth kicks off today. Please take a bottle home, fill it with loose change, cash, or a check, and return it to the church on Father’s Day! Haven’s Free Services include Pregnancy Testing, Pregnancy Confirming, Ultrasound, STI Testing & Treatment, Prenatal & Parenting Classes, Baby Boutique, and Post Abortion Healing.

MEAL TRAIN FOR THE BERGERONS – 2 Adults, 1 Kid, Franklin, NH
Drop-Off: 3-5 – The Bergerons just added another baby boy to their adorable family. Please help them with the crazy newborn haze that they find themselves in currently. Dinners are most appreciated, but if you feel like going above and beyond, an extra frozen dinner or something quick for breakfast would be super helpful for Shannon while juggling a newborn and a hungry toddler. Adding funds through their Venmo account (@jonbee603) to help them get groceries or to order a meal from a local restaurant on days that meals are not scheduled is also very helpful, and feel free to do so. Let’s be the village. To sign up, please go to the following website.
