Sunday August 23, 2026 Announcements

PRAYER – Toward the end of our closing song, two people from our prayer ministry team will come up to the right of the stage to offer prayer for anyone who would like to speak with them. They will hang around for a few minutes after the service in case anyone needs prayer. We also have a prayer time every Sunday before the early worship service at 8:30 am in front of the stage in the worship center. Our focus during that time is on our church and on any personal concerns that you may want to share.

SMALL GROUPS – We now have 15-20 small groups to choose from. Please see Ernie after the worship service today if you would like some information about our options.

PARKING – Please do not park at the Common Man parking lot if you’re going to the 10:45 service because they start serving lunch at 11 am, and we don’t want to keep any of their customers from parking there. Thank you!

YARD SIGNS AND CAR MAGNETS – Please pick up your free yard sign and/or car magnet after the service to help us in promoting our church!

MUGS AND CANDY FOR OUR GUESTS! – If you haven’t received one of our Ashland Community mugs yet, please see Ernie after the worship service today.

ONE BIG WORSHIP SERVICE AT THE BEACH AND BAPTISMS ON AUGUST 30TH! – Our annual worship at the Ashland Beach is scheduled for Sunday, August 30th at 10 am. We are encouraging people to park near or at the church and to take the bus that we will be providing on that day. It would also be helpful if families could be dropped off at the beach while the drivers come back to the church to take the bus. We are hoping to have over 300 people attending for this big celebration, which will include several testimonies during the service, a big free cookout for everyone on the beach after the service, and about 10-15 baptisms after the cookout. Please see Ernie if you would like to get baptized on that day. (Rain date is Sunday, September 13th). Please invite some friends to join you for this VERY special event!!!

🩷 Welcome, sweet baby Callie! 🩷

Callie

Let’s help welcome Trevor and Courtney’s beautiful new baby girl, Callie Nessa Wassel, who was born August 17th at 5:12 AM, weighing 8 lbs. 6 oz. After a difficult delivery complicated by shoulder dystocia and a failed epidural, we’re so thankful she is here! 🙏💕

Big sister Carmen is excited to have her baby sister home! 🥰

As Trevor and Courtney settle into life as a family of four, we’d love to bless them by providing meals during this first busy month. If you’re able to provide a meal, it would be such a wonderful way to show them some love and support.

Congratulations, Trevor, Courtney, and big sister Carmen—and welcome to the world, Callie! 💕👶🏻 https://mealtrain.com/g5ln63

There is no charge for giving a gift card, however, Meal Train charges about an 8% fee for all financial gifts. If you’d like to give a financial gift without the fees, you can send them a cash or a check, or give it to Debbie or Ernie Madden, and they can get it to them.
